Guys we made it through January!! I don’t know about the rest of you but my January has been very long, very dark and very sober. I’m ready for a new month, some more daylight (sunshine on the forecast today at least) and a glass of wine. If I could be wearing one look right now it would be the above Prada compilation, just the perfect amount of comfortable, chic and a little bit crazy. Also a cosy red sweater has become a solid staple in my wardrobe, red is empowering, brings high energy and is actually suprisingly classic. I like it styled with either jeans, suit pants, a classic skirt or with something navy or burgundy for a nice contrast. I also love a red sweater paired with a dark lip. On the topic of dark lips, this week I did a cute Q&A with The Ceiling about my wedding look inspiration and some tips, you can read the whole article here.
I thought I would do something different this week and wanted to present my favourites of the week in the form of a collage (what a time to be alive) which turns out to not be as easy as it might look and required all of my technical abilities, but I hope you like the result. It’s still cold so I’m still very much into incorporating layering, black and the art of wrapping up into my outfits but am also here for a statement jewellery piece and the little peek-a-boo moment of showing a little bit of skin for an evening look. Whether it’s an exposed hip or the upper part of the arm or a pair of knee-high socks that have cut out toes giving the illusion of a leg warmer. To be honest right now I’m generally focused on being cosy inside, with the help of a good book, soft, heavyweight towels and robes and the comforting aroma of a scented candle that smells like a smoky fireplace.

These silk knee-high socks will be my investment accessory for spring.
This beautiful handmade onyx necklace can be paired with both a casual and evening outfit to elevate the look.
Bury me in heavyweight Tekla towels, I was lucky enough to experience these and their new robes in real life and they are giving luxe spa in the comfort of your own home.
Don’t have the luxury of an at home fireplace? No worries, this baby will create the sensory experience of burning wood for you.
