Meet Emma Aars
I asked cool girl, writer and publisher Emma to share her favourite Fall outfit and some visual inspiration
Emma Aars is a writer and editor based between Glasgow and Oslo whose work focuses on the material and visual properties of language. She writes about art, clothes, scents and photography, in addition to making art books. I had the pleasure of meeting her in Oslo about a year ago and was instantly struck by her effortless style, warm energy and her way with words.
Her work has been featured in numerous magazines and she is 1/3 of Ghost Press, a publishing house making artist’s books with emerging writers and artists, and 1/2 of Forloren Skildpadde, a Scandinavian journal of literature
She also writes reports from the nose, a newsletter about scents and smells.

My favorite outfit at the moment is this gray vintage blouse/jacket with jeans (Gimaguas) and ballerinas (Lolo) and this small floral handbag I bought for nothing at a market in Denmark. It’s simple, but that’s when I feel the best.
And my Thistles sunglasses for nice autumn days! The wool jacket is an old Acne that I never grow tired of. I love the woven wool with small patches of red, blue and yellow.
